Motivation is the internal state or condition that serves to
activate or energize behavior.
Motivation is what drives an individual to achieve a goal. Motivation theories believe that motivation
plays an important role in the performance of all learned responses. There are different sources of motivation
described as intrinsic and extrinsic. We
will explore different sources of notification in this course. The goal of this course is to educate the
reader on the different, but similar definitions of motivation. This course will cover why motivation is so
important from a psychological perspective, the different sources of
motivation, the stages of change, Social Cognitive Theories of Motivation, and
the different types of motivation. Brain
design and motivation, the influence of environment on motivation, and how ADHD
